.NOW...REGIONAL WEATHER DISCUSSION... AT 230 PM... TEMPERATURES HAD WARMED INTO THE LOW 50S IN NORTH CENTRAL OKLAHOMA TO THE MID 60S IN FAR WESTERN OKLAHOMA. THE AIRMASS OVER THE AREA WAS DRY WITH HUMIDITIES 20 PERCENT OR LESS IN MOST LOCATIONS... EXCEPT IN NORTH CENTRAL OKLAHOMA AND PARTS OF SOUTHERN OKLAHOMA. THE LOWEST HUMIDITIES WERE SEEN IN WESTERN OKLAHOMA WHERE VALUES RANGED FROM 12 TO 15 PERCENT. SOUTHWEST TO WEST WINDS WERE OCCURRING ACROSS THE AREA. THE WIND SPEEDS RANGED FROM 5 TO 10 MPH IN PARTS OF CENTRAL AND SOUTHERN OKLAHOMA... TO 10 TO 20 MPH WITH HIGHER GUSTS IN WESTERN OKLAHOMA AND WESTERN NORTH TEXAS. THE GUSTY WINDS AND DRY AIR WILL CONTINUE TO COMBINE TO ELEVATE THE WILDFIRE POTENTIAL THROUGH THE AFTERNOON HOURS... ESPECIALLY ACROSS PARTS OF WESTERN OKLAHOMA AND WESTERN NORTH TEXAS.
