.NOW...A LARGE AREA OF RAIN...WITH POCKETS OF FREEZING RAIN ACROSS SOME OF THE HIGHER ELEVATIONS OF THE WESTERN CATSKILLS AND POCONO MOUNTAINS...WILL CONTINUE TO LIFE NORTHEAST ACROSS THE REGION. AS COLDER AIR BEGINS TO FILTER IN FROM THE WEST...THE RAIN WILL CHANGE TO SNOW...STARTING WITH WEST PORTIONS OF THE TWIN TIER REGION BETWEEN 3 AND 4 PM AND THEN PUSHING INTO THE FINGER LAKES REGION AND SUSQUEHANNA REGION BETWEEN 4 AND 5 PM. WHERE THE RAIN FALLS...AMOUNTS WILL BE AROUND 1 TENTH OF AN INCH. IN THE AREAS THAT CONTINUE TO RECEIVE THE FREEZING RAIN...ICE ACCRUALS WILL BE AROUND 5 HUNDREDTHS OF AN INCH PER HOUR.
