.NOW...AS OF 11 AM...LIGHT SNOW SHOWERS WERE GRADUALLY PROGRESSING EASTWARD ACROSS THE PURCHASE REGION OF WESTERN KENTUCKY AND EXTREME SOUTHEASTERN ILLINOIS...WHILE SPREADING INTO SOUTHWESTERN INDIANA AND THE KENTUCKY PENNYRILE REGION. THE BACK EDGE OF THE SNOW SHOWERS EXTENDED FROM CARMI ILLINOIS TO NEAR MAYFIELD KENTUCKY...AND WILL CONTINUE TO MOVE EASTWARD...ALLOWING FOR THE ACTIVITY TO TAPER OFF ACROSS THE ENTIRE AREA BY 1230 PM. WITH TEMPERATURES SLOWLY RISING THROUGH THE 30S...NO ACCUMULATION IS EXPECTED. WEST WINDS WILL INCREASE TO 15 TO 25 MILES PER HOUR THIS AFTERNOON.
